My Father Cigars The Judge Corona Gorda
Wrapper: Ecuadorian (sumatra)
Binder: Nicaraguan (Corojo and Criollo)
Filler: Nicaraguan
This week I am reviewing the Judge by My Father Cigars in the Corona Gorda Size.
Upon lighting this cigar up I got strength with earthy and peppery flavors right off the bat. After a little bit it slightly mellowed out but the earthy remained and were then joined with red pepper and chocolate and leathery notes. The strength picked back up after about 10 minutes of smoking.
A little while later I got some floral notes mixed in with the other flavor notes from earlier. At about the halfway point I started to taste a very faint hint of sweetness that tasted like graham cracker. About 5 minutes later the strength switched over from full bodied to medium bodied. After Smoking for another 20 minutes and at the end of the cigar the strength went back to full bodied to end the cigar on a great note.
I did not recognize any more flavor note transitions, just the strength transitions while smoking the cigar. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. The Judge is just one of the many My Father cigars that will be featured at our 2 year anniversary party on Saturday March 11th from 3-7 pm. See you there!
