Tatuaje Cabaiguán Maduro Guapos
Wrapper: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
This week I will be reviewing the Cabaiguan Maduro Guapos.
This cigar starts off with a kick since it is a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. I got some nice pepper notes along with leather and cocoa. The pepper is reminiscent of Black pepper and it makes the mouth water when smoking, pleasing the palate with every puff.
After a while of smoking I started to taste sweet notes that reminded me of Graham cracker with a vanilla like creaminess. The strength picked back up a little while later and I started to taste some baking spice and a little hint of cinnamon.
At about the halfway point the cigar mellowed out a little bit and I got some hearty notes mixed in with more leather and cocoa. This cigar started to tingle my lips and I tasted more pepper but this time it was red pepper. This cigar picked back up in strength and stayed that way until the end of the smoke.
It turned out to be a really nice full bodied cigar. If you have never smoked a Tatuaje then you need to give this cigar a try. Tatuaje has something for every palate. Ask about it next time you come in!
