This week I am reviewing Maria Lucia in the corona Gorda size.
When I lit it up I got some awesome dark cocoa and chocolate notes which I like to compare to eating a really good chocolate bar. I also got some earthy notes on the back end. The more I smoked this cigar I got some black and red pepper notes with a hint of cedar and a little bit of leather. This cigar takes your palate on a whirlwind in a good way!
Maria Lucia is burning nice and evenly and the draw is nice. I haven’t had to relight it even when working and having to get up while smoking and reviewing the cigar! Midway through the cigar I started to get some sweet buttery notes with graham cracker and hints of a little bit of cinnamon and cumin. I know it sounds like a lot packed into 1 cigar but those are the flavor notes that I am getting and the whole smoke is amazing!
