Rock-A Feller Cigars Connecticut Toro

This week I am reviewing Rock-A-Feller Cigars Connecticut Toro!
Kevin Sweitzer has become a good friend of mine over the years and with his persistence with wanting us to carry his brand it’s only right that I review something from his portfolio that we carry that I might not smoke as often as others.
Upon the first light I tasted some nice buttery and creamy notes with a hint of nuttiness on the back end. The notes then transition into graham cracker with a little bit of a spicy note mixed in. After a little while of smoking this cigar gets really mellow and I start to taste creamy/sweet notes. Throughout this cigar sweetness is a common theme, along with the sweet notes I am also tasting a faint hint of cocoa notes from time to time as well. I haven’t gotten any bitterness while smoking.
The burning of the tobacco wasn’t always in sync so when I ashed there was blackness from the partially burned tobacco so I had to torch it a little bit to help it catch up but that only happened a couple of times and after the cigar started to burn properly. (Probably user error I was probably puffing too fast at the time!)
This cigar ended on a great note, still sweet and was a great cigar overall! Kevin will be here on February 29th from 5-8 pm for a cut and light featuring Rock-A-Feller Cigars as always there will be food, cigar deals and raffles so come out, try something new and find a new favorite in his line up! He doesn’t only make Connecticut cigars he has Medium bodied cigars, full bodied cigars, and much more!
Check out next week’s Shirtless Mike’s cigar of the week!
