Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich 56 Toro Oval (Limited Edition)
Wrapper: Mexican San Andreas
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
This week I am smoking Knuckle Sandwich 56 which is the Erik Espinosa and Guy Fieri Collaboration for Guy’s 56th Birthday.
This is a limited edition cigar and only 1500 boxes were made! This is the same blend from last year’s release (55) just in a different size which is a Toro Oval or you can just say it’s slightly boxed pressed. Let’s light up and see what this is all about!
Upon the first couple of puffs I tasted some dark black pepper right away. After a couple of minutes I got some sweet espresso notes with a little earth in the background. Hints of dark baking cocoa which eventually transitioned to cinnamon notes and a splash of brown sugar.
At around the halfway point I started to taste some earthy notes at the forefront of the smoke. Throughout the whole smoking experience the burn was excellent as well as the draw. The ash was a light grey in color for a short time. Ultimately this cigar ends on a great note with the ending notes being a little peppery and there was no sign of bitterness.
This cigar increased in strength as it was smoked and it was an overall delicious cigar! Next time you come in ask for Knuckle Sandwich 56 and hurry because we only have 2 boxes!
