This is one of the more popular Tatuaje blends that we sell. It is a collaboration between Pete Johnson and Don Pepin Garcia and it only comes in a Belicoso size. Let’s see what this is all about!
Upon first light I tasted some earthy and leathery notes with a little bit of red pepper. After only a few minutes those notes transitioned into a deep black pepper and spicy notes. After about a quarter of the smoke I started to taste some cocoa and coffee notes with a small amount of cinnamon. A nice creamy note began to show itself at the halfway point. I also started to taste some toasty notes as I kept on smoking this cigar along with a little bit of cedar in the background.
This cigar is a solid medium bodied cigar. It isn’t a real complex cigar but it is consistent and very enjoyable to smoke! There wasn’t much change from the middle of the cigar to the end. Towards the end I got some more earthy notes with a little bit of cinnamon mixed in. I got no bitterness and it was an excellent cigar!
Come in and ask about Tatuaje on your next visit. Join us this Saturday for our 3 year Anniversary Party!
