San Cristobal Revelation Prophet (Robusto)
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
This week I am reviewing San Cristobal Revelation Prophet, otherwise known as a Robusto size. We brought these in from Ashton and were surprised at how good these cigars are. When I lit this cigar up I got some pepper and spice, and graham cracker notes right off the bat with some cedar and creamy notes in the background. It was a nice surprise to get such a flavor bomb first thing this morning.
After about a quarter inch in I started to taste red pepper flavor notes with leather and cedar mixed in. After a little while the flavors died down but I continued to get sweet flavor notes while smoking. I don’t retrohale much but I try to do it while I review cigars and when I retrohaled I got some nice cinnamon notes blowing smoke through my nose and I tasted it on my tongue.
Later on in my smoking experience I started to get nice floral notes for a little while, The flavors didn’t change much through the rest of the cigar. It didn’t get bitter and was overall a great experience and a great way to start off the day.
If you like a solid medium bodied cigar with lots of flavor then San Cristobal Prophet is definitely for you. We also carry 4 sizes so whatever size you prefer I’m sure you will find it in the line up.
Be sure to check out our Father’s day BBQ with Ashton cigars on June 17th from 3-6PM where we will be featuring San Christobal, Ashton and La Aroma De Cuba. We will have deals and food by Chef Paulie!
