This week I am reviewing Platino by Cordoba y Morales.
This cigar is unique because it is essentially 2 cigars in one with 3 different tobaccos for the wrapper and the cigar is rolled around a mini lancero made with 2 different molds.
The end of this cigar is a closed foot. Upon lighting up I got some really nice mild coffee and cocoa notes followed by earthy notes mixed with grass and hay. After about 10 minutes I started to taste pepper on the back end. Eventually I started tasting some cedar notes and the cigar got creamy. This smoke is pretty mild throughout the entire duration of me smoking and it is extremely flavorful with lots of transitions.
Some of the other notes I got were baking spice, cinnamon, Cumin and more earthy notes. I’ll be honest I got side tracked while smoking this cigar and just started to enjoy it without thinking about it too much.
