Review

I opted for the Robusto size, a departure from my usual toro size, to provide an unbiased review. The first thing I noticed was this cigar had excellent construction, there weren’t any soft spots and it burned extremely well.  Upon lighting, I was greeted with a creamy, sweet undertone that gradually gave way to spicy notes. As the cigar progressed, the strength increased, and the spiciness mellowed, revealing earthy and peppery notes.

The smoke remained hearty throughout, with a delightful transition to fruity notes reminiscent of dried raisins and subtle sweetness towards the end. Floral hints and a brief sunflower seed note added complexity to the smoke. A red pepper note emerged mid-smoke, eventually giving way to a subtle black pepper finish.

Conclusion

The Powstanie San Andres is an exceptional addition to the Powstanie lineup. If you enjoy medium to full-bodied cigars with a San Andres wrapper, this is a must-try. Be sure to ask about it on your next visit and share your thoughts!
