The Roma Craft Intemperance line is a line that is named after the intemperance movement and the prohibition movement centered around the prohibition of alcohol.
This particular blend refers to the Volstead Act of 1920 that enacted the ban. Volstead is the newest in the intemperance line and has been highly talked about since coming out recently. We finally have it in our possession so I figured I should review it this week!
Once I lit up this cigar I got some beautiful almond and sweet notes along with some graham cracker and a little bit of citrus on the back end. At around the halfway point I started to get hints of red pepper and a small amount of baking spices.
Throughout the entire smoke the burn was great and I haven’t been getting any bitterness while smoking it, this cigar is smoking great in typical Roma Craft fashion. The end of this cigar provided some nice earthy and creamy notes, once again I didn’t get any bitterness and it was good until the last puff.
If you want to try something new at a reasonable price point I highly recommend that you try the intemperance Volstead.
