Craft – Noun, An Activity Involving Skill In Making Things By Hand is the tagline for Roma Craft Tobac and part of the many reasons why I have gravitated to this brand for so long.
The pride that they take in producing a quality cigar at an affordable price can be seen with every cigar that you pick up. Now that we carry Roma Craft I want those of you that have never heard of this brand to get to know it like I do and hopefully find a new favorite in your smoking portfolio!
This week I am reviewing the Aquitaine Cranium which is a Gran Toro size.
When I first lit up this cigar I got some nice fruity notes almost like raisins along with some earthy and peppery notes. As the smoke progressed I also tasted some dark cocoa and coffee notes along with leather and hints of nuttiness. The draw was a little bit tight on this cigar but not in a negative way. It allows the cigar to burn a little slower and not burn too hot allowing you to enjoy it just a little bit longer!
At about the halfway mark of the smoke I started to get some more peppery notes that were a little more defined. The peppery notes then transitioned into red pepper and then black pepper. Almost to the end I started to get some savory notes along with some hints of cedar and cumin.
This cigar also has great smoke output. This cigar ends with some dark espresso notes and definitely does not disappoint. I didn’t get any bitterness and thoroughly enjoyed this cigar.
Next time you come in ask about Aquitaine Cranium and see for yourself how good this cigar is! If you are a full bodied smoker then this cigar is definitely for you!
