Now that we have become an Opus x shop again I figured that today I would review something on the higher end side which is the Opus X Oscuro Super Belicoso.
Opus X is a brand within the Arturo Fuente cigar line made in extremely limited quantities and regarded as some of the best premium cigars in the world.
As I lit up this Opus I got a slight hint of pepper right off the bat and as I continued smoking I got some nutty and earthy notes with hints of dried fruit and cumin. As I continued on my opus journey I also tasted hints of leather and creamy buttery notes. Throughout the smoke it was a solid medium to full bodied cigar and has the quality Dominican taste that you have come to know from Fuente. There were also some hints of sunflower seed, black and red pepper and a very slight hint of cinnamon.
As the cigar ended I got lots more earthy notes and the strength level increased a little bit. This is definitely a cigar you should check out because we only get a limited amount of Opus X so when we run out we won’t get more right away, just when we are allotted our stock.
Look for it in our high end humidor cabinet located on the wall outside of the main humidor!
