Tatuaje 20 Grand Merveille
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
This week I am smoking the Tatuaje 20 Grand Merveille which is Tatuajes 20th Anniversary cigar. Pete Johnson has really put in some work in the cigar industry over the years and given his relationship as son in law to Don Pepin Garcia this was made at the My Father factory as well, so you know it’s going to be good!
Upon first light I got some nice spicy flavor notes along with black pepper and some charred taste. After a while in the background I started to taste some graham cracker notes along with some sweet creamy notes. As the smoke progressed I started to taste some leathery notes along with some nuttiness. For some reason in the background I also tasted some cocoa notes which made the cigar so much better!
At the halfway point of the smoke I tasted some notes that reminded me of sunflower seeds. Overall so far the taste and the way the cigar burns has been amazing while smoking! I haven’t tasted any bitterness and it has been a great smoke.
Remember that we have recently expanded our Tatuaje Selection so come in and ask us about the Tatuaje 20 Grand Merveille and we will show you where to find it in the myriad of cigars!
