Magnum R 54 is made from a Rosado Sun grown wrapper harvested from the lower primings of Ecuadorian tobacco and aged for nearly 10 years.
This cigar was created exclusively for Brick and Mortar Retailers so the only way that you can get this cigar is by visiting a tobacconist who sells Fuente. Like most offerings in the Fuente line up you are going to get a quality cigar at an affordable price and for every Palate. Now that we have that out of the way Let’s get into the review!
During the first few puffs I tasted some floral and sweet notes mixed with leather. As I continue on with this smoke I start to get cedar and woody notes. These flavor combinations continue for a little while. As I continue to smoke I start to get some earthy notes and hints of pepper and sunflower seeds.
This cigar is a solid mild to medium bodied smoke. If you are new to cigars or have been smoking for years the Magnum R 54 Sun Grown is one of those cigars that any level of smoker can enjoy. I didn’t notice too many more transitions while smoking this cigar. Throughout the whole experience it was enjoyable and I didn’t get any bitterness. During the end of the smoke I did get some sweet Graham Cracker notes mixed with Molasses and some more floral notes. Next time you come in be sure to ask about this cigar if you are in the mood for a mild to medium smoke at a great price then give the Magnum R 54 Rosado Sun Grown a try if you’ve never smoked one.
