Room 101: 13th Anniversary
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
This week I am reviewing Room 101’s 13th Anniversary cigar, affectionately known as “The Stinky Pinky” (yes that’s what it is referring to!)
This is a Nicaraguan puro and upon lighting this cigar I got some notes of cedar and wood which started off this cigar very well in my opinion! The strength level is definitely on the medium to full scale (depending on what you call medium or full body.)
As I get more into this cigar the cedar starts to fade away and I started to get a slight amount of pepper but it wasn’t a pepper bomb. It reminded me of biting into a juicy steak because being a heavier cigar the smoke itself was very meaty feeling in my mouth with the notes that I am getting. As I kept smoking I started to get slight dark chocolate notes mixed in with a very faint amount of citrus notes. I also got some earthy notes a little after that.
Overall this cigar is probably the best cigar that Matt Booth makes, and one of the best that I have smoked in a while. If you are into the full body spectrum of cigars then this is what you need to try next time you stop in! We have plenty of these cigars to go around so ask about the stinky pinky next time you see us!
