This cigar is a very unique cigar because it is 100% Ligero tobacco. You would think that a cigar of this strength would make you immediately sick and lightheaded but this cigar really will surprise you!
This cigar has a closed foot and a very nice looking wrapper which certainly enticed me to smoke it. Upon first light I was greeted with intense strength, a mixture of spicy and a very small amount of pepper. The retro hale is extremely spicy so this cigar is definitely not for the beginner smoker! As I continue to smoke this cigar I am getting hints of red pepper and black pepper with leather lingering in the background.
I am not a fan of spicy food, however with cigars spicy isn’t bad because I don’t feel like my mouth is on fire. As I continue my journey into smoking the Nica Reaper I started to get notes of baking spice all while still sticking to the spicy pepper flavor notes.
This cigar is staying pretty strong and consistent all the way through and is still a treat for the full body cigar lover out there. This cigar makes only a few transitions and keeps the spicy notes throughout. I recommend trying this cigar next time you come in. If you are into full bodied cigars this is definitely a must try! See you next time you come in.
