El Rey Del Mundo Limited Edition by AJ Fernandez
Wrapper: Sungrown Habano
This week I am reviewing the El Rey Del Mundo Limited Edition by AJ Fernandez. This cigar comes packaged with tissue paper and several bands which makes it hard to remove to be able to smoke but oh is it worth it!
When I first lit it up I got slight cocoa notes with pepper mixed in which makes the start of this smoke very enjoyable! The cocoa notes open up as I get about an inch in and then I am greeted with a floral note transition and the cocoa takes a back seat giving floral room to shine! The floral notes lasted for a short time and turned leathery for a while until I started to get notes of baking spice and cinnamon. As I got to the middle of the cigar I started to get black pepper and sweet notes in the background.
This cigar is interesting and keeps my attention the whole time. After the last transition I got notes of graham cracker and spice and more pepper up until the end and then it mellowed out to finish off the cigar.
If you haven’t tried this cigar yet you need to come and grab one to try. Limited quantities available!
